“When you own a small business, you wear many hats!” 

Liz started working at the business in 1994 as an office manager handling payroll and the accounting procedures. In 2009, Meck Paint became a minority, woman owned business with Liz operating as CEO and has received the WBENC Certification every year since. Liz handles all accounting procedures, HR, taxes, policies/procedures, insurances, IT, etc. She likes to say she’s behind the curtain of the business. She also leads the company in business development/marketing as a member of BOMA, IREM and CREW. She attends luncheons, networking and outreach events with each organization.

In February 2020, Liz was selected as one of Charlotte's Most Admired CEOs!! We are so very proud of her and are so thankful to have such an outstanding leader of our team here at Mecklenburg Paint Company!
